Yeah , boncrshr wanted to try out his Vampire tires in some REALLY challenging mud . Well folks , this weekend he got his wish BIG TIME !
Right after we left the parking area , boncrshr and I drove our machines through a place filled with lilly pads, swamp grass , and water that was 3/4 of the way over the tires . The last time wildtexasranger and I drove through this very same place , it had 3-4 feet of water . In about 15 minutes of driving through this stuff , I was wishing I had 6 Gator tires on my Max IV , instead of just two on the front . That Hustler 950 ,with the 6 Vampire tires on it , went through the soft mud MUCH easier than the Gator and Terra tire combo I had . In some places he drove through easily , and I had to rock my Max side to side , just to make it through the same spot .
The next time out , I,m running six Gator tires on my Max IV . The water was not deep enough to swim through , and to drive through it , you needed some REALLY aggressive mud tires !
