We don't travel on trails, we make our own.
But if I ever get down your way I would like to try a good ole mud hole like that! I must say you guys are persistent, and I love the technique.
I just came back from a day's ride up north and wanted to say that the Hoot with those 24" Frontier tires was fantastic, what a difference a good tire and full time 6 wheel drive makes. The other guys had a Frontier and an Avenger. Both the Avenger and the Frontier ripped the sidewall out of a tire, but we basically travelled the same terrain. Only used a half bottle of Muskol, but all in all a great day!

Bw6 ,
That was just an example of what we rode through that day , and this is by no means a comparrison of where we like to take our amphibs when we ride . That video was taken at a well maintained ATV park , and most of the trails are wide enough that another ATV can come help you get back , if you ever happen to break down . If you are stuck REALLY bad the owner of the park will bring his tractor to pull you out .

A lot of the trails there are wide enough for the water truck , to spray water and keep down the dust . That long mud hole was near the entrance of the park , and if that was the extent of what I had to ride in on a regular basis ,, I,d sell my amphib and buy a good ATV .

This video is a poor example of where we have taken our amphibs , when we go riding .

That,s the very stuff that my amphibious friends and I want to see the Hoot go through , not the really easy stuff thats posted on Utube .

Bw6 , could you post some good pictures of the Hoot with Frontier tires on it ? I,d like to see how much clearance is left between the tires and between the top of the tub. In all honesty , was there any place that the Hoot could " continue to go ", but the Argo,s could not , because of the Hoot,s lower psi on the ground ?
