Mud tires are weird. If you think they'll swim you can bet they won't. Here is my experience. I have been in the swamp with Lee's Argo Frontier with six mud Bugs facing forward. It swims somewhere between 1 to 1 1/2 mph. Six vampires forward-about 2 mph. Swamp fox Plus-one foward backward forward about 1 1 1/2 to 2 mph. One thing they all have in common, you have to let them paddle. You don't go into the water and rev them like an aatv tire, you just ease on the throttle and let them go to work. Lee's argo with six mud Bugs facing forward (I have videos posted of his machine in soupy mud and running with me in the swamp) eats mud better than ANY AATV or QUAD I have ever seen. He flat embaresses quads who won't even come around and challenge him anymore. But in water my max with vampires and swamp foxes walked away from him (once again I have video posted of us in the swamp together. This is my experience. Check out the video your self. Thanks
This mud pit that Lee is moving through took several high lifted quads with outlaws and gorilla tires up to a 1/2 hour to move through. Again I have video of Max Max sitting behind this big Quads waiting for them to move so I could drive on through in about two minutes-enjoy!!
