I agree with racerone about the idle possibly being too high. I don't think there is a problem with your tranny. Argos all tend to do that if the idle is a little high. The idle on my engine changes slightly as the engine warms up. If the idle is too high I can shift by rocking the machine back and forth, with my body weight, or going from neutral to reverse than to low. Hope this helps.
