i would take the flywheel off and see if something has fallen between it and the engine block.
what engine? sounds like a wiring issue. start be checking all grounds
the inner one is probably just a shaft collar that is held in place on the axle with a set screw. i would cut it all off and start fresh. the shaft collar isn't original to the machine. probably just...
June ride usually has quite a few. 60ish is probably a safe bet.

Whipper is no longer a member here and seems to be pretty much out of the AATV game but would still probably do axles and sprockets. He did mine for my 980 and does amazing work. Apache Gear in...
That is the tall tub version of the 980. they are a little tippy in water but very capable. Those tires swim great but ride like manhole covers. axles should be 1 3/16" from the factory.
what Jim said
you might be able to pinch the metal housing that the cable slides through a little and create enough friction to stop it
stabil is never a bad idea. I use some 2 stroke oil. enough oil for 1 gallon of premix, but put it in 5 gallons of gas. it has some fuel stabilizer and keeps things lubed to avoid corrosion. I'm sure...
2nd generation Attex. ABS body but hard to tell more. post some pictures of the inside and we can tell more. SN is stamped on the right side of the frame in the rear (about 8" from the rear corner)....
you might be best to find a good used T-20 and convert the frame back. I don't know of ANYONE running those transmissions so parts will be scarce at best
Headlights are likely on the on the only ignition controlled hot circuit. you could splice into that wire and be fine
you could put a "T" in the pulse line and use a needle valve to vent a controlled amount to atmosphere
I would go with something thicker. .083 wall is as thin as I would go. 1/16 is also going to be very hard to bend without kinking unless you have access to a mandrel bender
Typically if the diode goes bad it kills spark to one cylinder (rear one). perhaps the diode wire is MIA or at minimum not hooked to the ground stud inside the flywheel cover
okay, so it has been shutting off via the anti-backfire solenoid in the carb, but now isn't? that tells me the needle in the solenoid is stuck open. i usually cut the needle off so no issue there....
there is a stud coming out of the flywheel shroud above the starter. this is the kill wire.
does it have a antibackfire solenoid in the carb? Definetly sounds like a fuel supply issue.
