I plan on welding the tube to the frame when i pull the frame out.The bolts are just holding every thing down for now.I don't now how to weld but i have a buddy that owns a muffler shop that is going to weld everything up and make the roll cage.I need to learn to weld.

sounds like you need a couple shop nights with your buddy and get him to teach you. Mig welding is quite easy the hardest part is prepping the metal and adjusting the temp and speed of the welder. That just takes practice. Once you learn you will be mr. Invention

I have a roofing question for you I am doing a roof at work . It used to be a one story motel that most of it has been ripped down . I saved 80 feet of it and totally gutted out the inside down to the bare studs and rafters. We are going to use it as cold storage for the new holiday inn. My question is in that senario the roof is 80 feet long and 44 feet wide with a very low pitch like 4/12 or even less. What would the best roof vent be a ridge vent, mushroom caps, or wirly birds and how many should I put on? Every 10 feet?

I've been watching 2 guy's garage.If you have a 4/12 pitch then i would go with the plastic ridgevent that you nail the ridge cap on,Not the aluminum type.I wouldn't put it on a roof with too much less of a pitch.You can take a 3 foot level put one end on the ridge level it and then measure down to the roof on the other end divide that number by 3 to get the roof pitch.I think a 40 foot box of ridgevent covers around 1200 square foot area.

thanx for the info that's the plan I like best as well but if the pitch is lower what's the next best one mushroom caps every 10 feet?

Shingle warranty is voided under 4/12 pitch.Pan vents would work but not sure about how the snow may affect them if any.

I did not like the first frame plan so this is plan b on the frame mock up to get my floor pan made.I am using 16ga aluminum for the floor pan and the ramp.Once i get the floor pan made i can take out the frame and weld everything up and paint.I used the bolts to hold everything in place until i remove the frame.

Thanks that give me a few ideas.I have a 6 wheeler to work with so i have to keep it light.I will have to make a light weight manual type ramp.Brandon is in a manual wheel chair so that helps on the weight factor.I couldn't imagine what that machine would cost.
