    First Swamp Run

This day was my first attempt to run with my friend in his 2000 Argo Bigfoot and the 2006 Frontier to try to get into the swamp islands to get samples. The mighty Argo Bigfoot making it safe for the Frontier to follow ....Once again we see first hand the differences in the two machines mainly the handling of Goodyear Rawhides vs. Argo paddle tires followed by the differences that the transmissions and engines have .... In some ways I envy his machine and what he can do and where he can go that has proven to be very hard if not impossible with the Frontier's current setup . On the other hand a bit more driving skills and either a change/upgrade of tires and or Adair Tracks I feel would make for a whole new out look and feel to the lil' beasty ... where traction and handling issues would be equal or better then the only issue would be the trade off of more HP and it's greater fuel use along with the issue of how well or not the factory sealed carburetors run vs the older adjustable Carburetor-ed engines only time will tell....
    ,,,

Due to the Frontiers lack of traction and over growth we had to abort the attempt just to many downed trees and deep mud/ quicksand holes ...

Cheer up buddy! You still have 2 more tires on the frontier than the Big foot! Get tracks and a little bit more power and he will be following! And if that dosent help, just think how far a four wheeler would have made it!

I am not seeing the swamp. Am I missing something? Either of the machines mentioned would be perfect candidates for Adair tracks and would be perfect in the swamp if you ever find it in all those trees. Maybe a chainsaw is needed. Also the Adair tracks will take less power and your machine will use less fuel than it does now.
