    Bearing help please avenger

Hello, I have a question on bearing play. How much is too much? I was doing my seasonal full service ( my hdi gets most of the use) and noticed that the bearings have about 1/16 max to 1/32 of an inch play. But when I grease I can't hardly fill any play? How much is normal? I know my hdi has zero play but that's a diff type of bearing.

    Thanks for the help
    Bobby

There should be no movement, if pumping in grease stops movement. Then bearings are starting to fail and should be replaced as they are worn.

They will go for a while yet. I will run mine like that sometimes, but just be prepared to change a bearing on the trail if needed.
If you can't take the play out with a few shots of grease, then you're starting to push it, lol.

I just went through my Conquests last weekend. One of them has 3 outer, Mid Axle bearings just the way you describe yours. I greased them up, and threw the tracks on, they will be fine for a while, but don't be suprised if you see me post a vid of myself changing bearings in the middle of a swamp somewhere in the next few months, lol.
