I converted to a thumb throttle and changed out to a BMX bike brake lever and have been happy ever since. thumb throttle was fine on my 4 wheeler but fatiguing on the 6x6.
hey deedee, sounds like the bicycle brake style lever would work good for you. i remember talking about it with you at busco. give it a try and let us know. my best to you guys. johnboy va.
I had a thumb throttle on my Conquest when I bought it. It was difficult to use when bouncing around and my thumb was numb after an hour or so of driving. I switched back to the twist throttle. I have the throttle and cable if your interested in buying it. I believe it is a Moose brand.
