Would be difficult to wire it to a thermostat. Besides, if your using the brakes, you need the fan. But when your winching out, at idol, or starting the machine you don't need the blower on. But you do need the amp the the fan is pulling to go to what ever other fast you have gong on.

What I did on my bigfoot was to replace the factory lightbulbs that were 37W each with 10w led bulbs then put a 60W LED bar on the bushguard. The led bulbs are quite dim but the lightbar is very bright and provides all the light I need. I also put a small led light on the rear.

This is the lightbar I used in the flood beam version.

Eventually I put the alternator in so wattage use isn't as big of a concern.

    Head Lights

Hey Son, I have thought about the LED Head Light Bulb to replace the ones I have in there now. That is a great idea. I also was and am looking for a clear glass to replace the frosted plastic lens. Clear would really help with the light. No luck with that. For now I will leave the head lights off and just will run the LED Light Bar. Did not know about the Thermostat, thank you T1 for answering. Like the Fan Switch, LED light Bulbs. My brush guard that I ordered is somewhere in the snow storm up north, will have to wait to measure what I want when it gets here. Thank you

Brush guard came in today. Not a bad looking Guard. Will accept a 15 in light bar. Now I find one that fits. Just a update, the brush guard is the only one that they sell for a 2002 Argo Conquest. It is not Heavy duty by no means, but it does look nice.

So, where did you get the brush guard?

Hey 410, Liewer Enterprises Inc Argo makes only one Brush Guard for a 2002 Argo Conquest. Price: Total with Shipping $226.90 it is not heavy duty but medium duty. It looks like a very easy install. It looks very nice, I will mount it, and take photos and put in on my photos in the 6x6 World Deedeelin1 Since I have no control over the price, I paid it. It does seem high but could find nothing cheaper. Hope that helps.

Hey Dan, now let me say that you are right, it is not that easy. The guy who put on the winch drilled holes in places that were not correct. Now I have to ???? Well to make a short story out of this, it is Beer 30 and I will start again tomorrow. I was looking in the engine compartment, saying to myself, where does the altinator go. That is another day sometime in May. God Bless ARGO

The alt kit is another bugger to put on.. Pull out the radiator on the right side of the conquest.. and feel down there.. that's where it goes. We could do a busco install.. its not that extremely painfull.. just a few hours.

Dan, I read the thread about you guys putting in the ALT KIT. After looking in the engine compartment,OMG. What a nice gesture but I want to be alone when that happens. When I throw a wrench I want no one around. After coffee and breakfast, day two on the brush guard. What else would I be doing, LMT, stands for Love My Toy
