    Wiring question, 1985 8 I/C

    Hey guys,

after a long hiatus, I'm getting back to work on my project. The previous owner had hacked and the tapped the wiring harness badly.

I was able to get a NOS Argo harness to replace the old one.

The only item I have yet to sort out, is where is the factory location to connect the hot side of the brake cooling fan?

I'm fairly confident it connects to an ignition hot so that it runs when the Argo runs. Am I right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The manuals I have for this are pretty vague on wiring.

    Thanks!

    Ken

I found wiring diagrams in the parts manual for the magnum. Pg 15 in manual #891-23. wiring should be very similar to the fan. yes it runs with key on and a lot of people put a switch in it to turn off when sitting.
Also on page 15 of PM888-23 of the I/C manual fan is fed by red wire from 10 amp fuse.

My fan is yellow on the hot side, gotta love Argo. :-)

Thank you BTW for checking for me.
