Hi: I have an old 1970s 6 wheel Argo. I was driving in the bush yesterday with my Argo tracks on and suddenly the middle right wheel developed a bad wobble. On inspection I could see that 2 of the bolts on the 3 bolt adapter plate had fallen off. After walking a mile back to my camp I got an allen key and removed the track. Next time I will have an emergency repair kit! It looks like the original bolts were held on with nuts, But they were welded in place as well. Is this necessary?. I was thinking on just using stainless steel bolts and nylon lock nuts.
