    Question on reviving old chains

Both old argos I picked up in the last week need a little love on the chains. One has chains that look to be nice & tight, but have gotten rusty. Any recommendations on what to soak them in? Diesel? ATF thinned with diesel or kerosene? Something else????

    Hi Vance,
I soaked mine in kerosene when I first took them off.they came up good, that was before I realised they were too stretched to use! I hear varsol mentioned a bit but we don't have that in Australia.
I then just left them in a bucket of oil. They are still in it! If they weren't to stretched I would have used them.
    Cheers
