keihin carburetor stripped air mixture threard

    Hello everyone,

The very last thing left on the Argo to finish was to take the carb apart clean it and replace the gasket and O rings. I was assured by the dealer that kit No. 24 757 03-s was the right one. As I was cleaning it I realized that the original air mixture screw and spring was missing. Long story short, I tried to thread in the new air mixture screw with the spring and I some how stripped the inside carburetor thread. Is there a way to repair that? Is it possible to tap it? If so, what size is it please? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
