Total length of chain on 8 wheeler?

I have an early- mid 80s Argo 8wheeler, Kohler KT 17, double #50 chain. I intend to put all new chain on it before moose season. I don't have the current chain off so it's tough to measure. I will be buying it in 10' chunks. Is 40' enough or do I need 50'?
Can anyone tell me approx. length for each specific axle (feet or inches, not links) front to rear?

4 boxes does one if I remember right. Download the early parts manual. It has all
    Chains listed by pin count.

Thank you sir... I have a hard copy of the parts manual (I think). Just assumed it would only have an Argo part # didn't expect a pin count :-)

Hi Vance- I am sure that you already know but for the record I believe that #50 chain is 5/8" pin to pin. I'm sure that if I am wrong there are lots of people here to fill me in. good luck

4 boxes works with the rear 4 chains from 2 boxes and the other 6 from 2 boxes with a small left over.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
