Has anyone cut out the firewall and put some vents in it?

The conquest has some vent holes in it from factory. So I don't think it would be a bad idea.

Yes, I added a three way switch to a bilge blower, for warm weather it pulled in cool air, for winter, I used it as a heater.

Go to lowes or home depot or look online for vent covers. All types out there and you should be able to just fasten to the firewall.
