    what can i use to keep leaves and branches from getting in my argo when running without the hood?

    A cover made from expanded metal works well.

    when i take it off when the engine gets hot. id rather not have leaves in there creating a fire hazard

    Maybe you could make a small frame and use chicken wire or something like that....

    I formed one out of some galvanized fence material or some kind of chicken fence. It works good and should let lots of sir in and out. It's formed to fit the engine bay and is held on by stainless steel wire on each side to help it in place. Will get some pics tmr
