Looking for an easy, cheap solution to lift my Argo (one end at a time) so I can place wheel dollies under the wheels to more easily move it around my tight garage space.
I do have a small floor jack and a farm jack as well.
Anyone have such a lift? If so please post a pic...thanks!
Place a piece of wood on top of your floor jack and center it under the front of your Argo under the frame. Jack it up, place the dollies and repeat on the rear. If you have a hitch in the rear, you can use that as a jack point as well.
Yup! That's the obvious common sense way to lift one but I was hoping to see an improvised contraption that would go under the machine and lift in one motion (like one of those snowmobile lifts)...surely someone has improvised one somewhere in the world....

That's what I'm talkin' bout!
I use a pallet jack with two 2x6 boards screwed to each leg. Then you've also got a handle to maneuver it around.
What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.
