    Clutch Alignment/Offset - 1998 ARGO Vanguard

Could someone please tell me what the clutch offset/alignment should be on a 1998 Vanguard with a 16hp Briggs. I measured the centre motor shaft to centre tranny shaft, however forgot to measure the horizontal offset between the driver and the driven clutches.

I put a new Subaru 20.5HP motor in the ARGO and cannot finish the install without this offset.

    Thanks

On my v2 ,which should have same clutches, the offset appears....
Using straight edge from inside face ( not belt area) of converter to engine clutch inner face (closest to engine) looks to be 9/16".
I could look at Lindsay's bigfoot tomorrow if needed, though that should be the same.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
