standard track question

Hello, I just bought a pair of standard tracks for my 1982 6 wheel and i was just wondering if I need to install axel extensions to run them properly?
Thanks Steve

Smile Tracks question

Hello 1982 Argo. i got a 1985 Vanguard and i tried once to put 13'' tracks without spacers ( because the previous owner didn't told me i needed some) and it was scraping the underside a lot. When i put them, no more problem. So check if your tracks are too close to your body( under couple of inchs), if so put some spacers.

Martin

my 78 6 wheel the previous owner ran tracks couple tome with too much air in tires(4 psi,20 inch runnamucks) and the underside is scuffed up,couple rivits around muffler box ground right off.also some cutting into side of tub up front, about halfway through the plastic.spacers prob.would have prevented all,if not at least wearing into the side of the body.your 82 may have more clearance above the tires, watch closely!HTH
