I wonder how the maintenance on a hydraulic only machine like the Hydrotraxx would compare to an Argo?
Yes having the part no. would be very nice, gives a base line for future possible projects. Also where did you get the rebuild, reseal parts for your hydraulic motors? Thank you.
Which brand of hydraulic wheel motors and pump does your Hydrotraxx have and what would be their part no.?
I wonder how atv tracks would work on a fully hydraulic machine such as a Hydrotraxx as it is really not a true skid/steer ?
Thank you all , your information is much appreciated .
I use my argo as a fishing boat and as a means of getting to the swamp/marsh /pond/water hole/lake that I will be fishing from . Once on water , I use a 6 hp. engine to get around . My main concern...
Will the weight of these tracks negatively affect deep water performance/buoyancy ?
Oops , I mean sheet metal screws through the rim trick .
Maybe try the old sheet metal through the rim trick .
I would think that adding additional plastic segments to the rubber belts would enhance its floatation therefore giving better performance in deep snow .
-How wide and thick are the belts and how are they connected to close the track around the tires ?
-Can the belts be adjusted if they stretch over time ?
-Any on trail repair kits or method if one...
What about Hydrotraxx , how reliable are they and what kind of maintenance do they need ?
Thanks Obsessed............will be looking in to it this summer .
Can these bearing extensions also be adapted to the rear axles of a 1991 Magnum ?
It would be great to see these questions and answers on this thread !
I run a separate battery for the plow and recharge it when I'm done.
I run tracks in the winter to push a plow and believe that reinforcing the rear axles would be beneficial .
Can the front bearing extensions on a 1991 argo magnum be adapted to the rear bearing and axles on the same machine ?
Any videos of that Hydro traxx in the water ?
