Perhaps you mean Marcel in Quebec? His user ID here is Patenteux. Still making tracks as far as I know.
I was able to get the seals from Argo Adventure in South Dakota in the recent past.
I cannot speak for the 12 inch track, but I have used the 18 inch plastic track in the past - only in snow. The 18 inch offer great floatation, but will not climb much of a grade if you are breaking...
Glad to hear that you are back in business!
I've purchased brake caliper seals for the older calipers from Argo Adventure.
Yaayyyyyyy - Rock Doc lives! I've missed your videos and posts.
Ingenuity at it's finest right there - well done ladies.
Rock - your daughters have been 'raised proper'!
Take care
Welcome to the site ky6x6! Your idea to pull a test log is a good plan - best to see what the unit is capable of prior to starting the job.
A few years ago, I had an Argo Vanguard 2 6x6 with a 16...
Great to know that you were successful. Agreed - you may as well replace those bearings if needed - now is the best time.
Battery tray is removable. Should be able to remove the axle with engine in.
Congrats Ruffus - very nice! Have you been practicing your 'make-it-snow' dance?
Glad to hear that you got it sorted out! Gotta love it when the electrical gremlin is an easy fix, even IF embarrassing - pretty sure most of us have a similar tale.

Where do you live?
Length-wise they should fit - it maybe necessary to use a half-segment. Perhaps someone who has first hand experience with an older Argo will chime in. You will not need wheel spacers with the 13.5...
I suggest checking this link

Find the manual for your serial number; on the Frame and Drive System page you will see the...
Although I do not have experience with an avenger (pretty sure someone with an avenger will chime in), it won't be necessary to remove the frame from the body. Check Adventure Argo in the Manuals...
Here's hoping the Kroil does the trick!
And I stand corrected - I just measured the plate thickness. It's 5/16 thick, not 1/4.
I may be able to be of assistance. I happen to have the frame out of my Conquest at the moment...I just finished cleaning it about 2 hours ago.
The tubes have a 1/4 inch thick end plate welded on...
