i have the argo supertracks with ice picks, love them for the winter, also work great with the blade on when plowing snow
ran my tracks all last winter, ran 2-3 psi in tires, no problems and all was good, no spinning in the tracks either
i put th 22x10x8 new style argo tires onto my conquest, wow, the swim great and still run my tracks, lots of traction too
i would have to say that your thermostat might be getting weak, mine runs at 175-180 all the time.
not to sure that they will fit on yours, my dad has a machine about the same age as yours, and has less room around the tires than my conquest does. but argo does sell the same tread in a 22x20x8...
looking good, as far as ice goes i have been accros as little as 1/2 inch with no tracks. i am curious how much of a change the tracks make. have not had the chance to test yet.
not sure yet, i have to wait till the weather warms up before i can even get mine mounted onto rims, but i can't see why i won't be able to run my tracks.
i don't think the 24's will, but the 22's will for sure. if you go for the 24's you might be running on next for nothing for air.

sounds like time for new brake fluid(using a higher dot# means better with heat and water) and spend some time bleeding to make sure that there is possitivly no air in the system. next is to make...

i use silicone on those bolts. but i do not leave the mounts on after winter either. hope this helps you
i have found that it depends greatly on the snow conditions, i have been stuck good in about 7 inches of wet snow, and yet still driving through a foot of dry powdery snow, it will take a bit of...
if you would like the best tire for mud and water. i would go to argo and get the new 22X10X8 tires (made by carlise but not avalible except at argo dealers. 8 is rim diameter, 11 or 10 is tire...
in an argo, by dropping the rear chains, you end up have less load up on the chains, there fore extending the life of your drive chains. learned by trying it out after replaceing all of the chains....
go with a single set on each side at full length, drop the rear set of chains in the machine. you will be posativly happy with this in snow. i would not split the tracks on one side
i can easliy tell you that if the quad works well, the argo 8x8 willl be absolutly wonderful to plow snow. i have a 97 conquest with an 82 inch blade and no troubles pushing a full blade of snow and...
i have a canopy on mine, i then took and made a tarp cover for it with windows, still have a bit of teawking to do, but real nice in the winter or rain. i have a couple pics up in the gallery. not...
not sure where you are, but i bought a 2000 bigfoot with windsheild, winch, plow, and canopy last fall for 6000.00. it also included super tracks for an eightwheel argo that had never been used. as...
welcome powerfist, you said that you had 3 bolt wheels. my guess is that you are late 60 to early 70. that said, my fiiance bought a 76 6x6 argo and it has 5 bolt wheels, with the left side drive...
hello slimpickin, argo has 22x10x8 tires that are made like those 24's. they are a bit pricey but you will be able to run the tracks with them, if you go to the 24's you will not be able to run...
