Hd axles are a good upgrade
Bearings - I'm a fan of the earlier bearing set up with double lip seal housings
What model of Argo do you own?
I would stay away from a cordless unit, from experience they are no use for greasing Argo's.
Ill take some better pics for you tomorrow, i ran these on my HDI with no issues....

Had it out today for the first run, seems spot on, couple of small issues to rectify, track spacers arrived so I'll get it fitted out...
Stick to what was fitted originally by the manufacturer, 50-2 sprockets, fit 50-2 chain. No point in skimping on chain...... Tsubaki is what I run on hire machines and no issues, you get what you pay...

Greasable and plain flange
Wheel nuts
Axle thrust bolts
Brake pads - both types
Spare wheel/tyre...
I'm with you trapper jack, I have looked into producing my own outer bearing housings to eliminate some of the issues with the hdi ones.
I run track turners on my hdi, I have sheared one axle which...
They need to sort out a few things first before they offer a machine like than, no point in sitting comfortable when your axle has snapped. I know the xti is set up the same as a centaur but the...
What about a hard cab kit for them?
My friend has one and the canvas Argo cab is rubbish
Hi from Scotland, :D
Is anyone here running an xti commercially? I'm looking to purchase a new one to add to an existing fleet of Argo's
It will be run on tracks 100% of the time on 12" offset...
Tsubaki chain is fantastic, you have chosen well, I run that on our hire machines and I'm very happy with it!
Your project is coming along great!!
Rory
Hey folks,
What track setup are you running on your centaurs?
Rory
You don't have to remove the tranny to change the idler shafts bearings.
This is the way I do it.
Split the duplex driven chains
split the idler chains
slacken the power pack bolts
jack up with...
