Located in UT. I can drive to meet you on a weekend but not halfway across the country. I inherited this and I'm just not up to the project. Starts and runs. Needs work. This sat in a field for...
Yep, gotta chop them out...I cant even test the bearings and seals because the whole dang thing is locked up...heck.there's one wheel that won't even come off....LOL. Its going to be a project for...
Sweet, thank you all very much for the information. I have a Fastenal close by (2, actually) and tractor stores...are like IFA and Cal-Ranch...I'll see what they carry. The chains in mine are so...
Does anyone know the chain size for the drive chains? I pretty much need new chains all around and I'd like to buy in bulk if I can.
I'm told Fastenal has lots of chain but I gotta figure out...
well, because i'm an idiot, I assembled it without the spring under the needle valve...so yeah...it runs now...but only under some throttle..I gotta work out some idle problems.
I did the best I could following everything I could find...but I'm utterly new to walbro
I just put a kit in my walbro...now I know the pump is working because it just SPRAYS fuel into the carb...so something's not right. What size mikuni slide should I find for this beast and be done...
I think this walbro is gone. I put a kit in it but i'm 99% sure its not pumping gas. 2 of the 3 springs in the fuel pump are utterly gone...so I wonder if I should just try and find a replacement. ...

I finally have a spot for it in the garage. I'm going to either start a new thread or use my blog and document it from the extraction of it from 2 feet of snow currently in the valley....
The engine turns easy...the old kohler 440 used stainless sleeves I hear....she turns over easy. The dude lost the key so I'll have to get a new one or just wire in a toggle and a push button (which...
So, its a 72...in case anyone is interested. Its thawing out in the garage now. I'm going to go through and check the chains. I'd bet real $ that the axle seals are shot so I need to find where I...
I've always wanted an amphibious atv...since I was like...4....I still can't afford a new one..so this is it for me for now :) Some day I'll be rich instead of beautiful.
Just picked this little baby up for free....I think I got a big enough project!

Guys, i'm going to chime in here if I can. I just acquired this ARGO and wonder if I should rebuild this kholer or just replace it. http://powerconnect.com/argo8.jpg
Sweet, I'm excited to get her underway. I hope to get her home into the garage next week. Got to get a few things sorted out in the garage first. I've heard of bobcat upgrades...i'd like to get an...
Hm, sounds encouraging :) owner lost the key..but first I need to get her cleaned out. The control sticks don't move at all....i'm going to pull the top off of it first and just clean it out. ...

well, the kholer in it is a 70 (based on the serial). The owner says that the body is made out of something that they only used for a year or so...which makes this a very early 70's with an ABS body...
Well, we're still working on the year. Its an air cooled kohler 440, transmission has H/L/R, and its made of some plastic/fiber/composite that only lasted for 2 or 3 years. I'm picking it up next...
