Raised argo,turned wheels, still the chain was too tight to budge the adjuster. Had newly made/ground vise grips with me..easily got the master link out of chain and then the adjuster was easy to...
Its liable to act like an ejection seat going over a big bump..lol

Solenoids are dirt cheap esp in the states! That switch you just ordered up here in canaduh costs 50 dollars plus shipping. Dont buy any other parts till you narrow it down. Have you adjusted valves...
Oops didnt see grizzley allready told you about the band clamps..
You need a band type oil filter wrench. It flops around on its handle and you can get it on no problem once you figure out how it works.

Put your key on and try to short out your two solenoid posts. If your starter solenoid is on top of your starter like mine was before I relocated it ..good luck..its hard to get at..but your not...

So awhile ago I relocated my solenoid and switched to a four post one. It isnt grounded very good so I ran the solenoids ground jumper to a ground post on the motor that had another black wire going...
