What gorgeous country.
Is anyone aware of a fluid or additive, maybe a hypoid or synthetic that may help quiet down this trans?
Got a chance to check on my Conquest. There isn't any rotational play in the trans that I can feel but there is probably 1/16 of an inch or so end play. There is no play at any of the other...
Thanks for the info msafi65. I'll pull the belt and check for shaft play tomorrow. Ya, my older sister had an old bug when I was little and I still remember that noisy little thing.
Just wondering. All winter I didn't notice how whiney my trans is but it caught my attention today. Fluid is clean and full but it sounds like an old VW bug going 30 mph in reverse. The sound of my...
Looks like a great time and beautiful location.
Me too in a PM.
That's how mine is. If I don't get a blower, I will probably fabricate an electric angle system.
That's the same plow I have on my 2000 Conquest but mine does have normal the trip springs. The person I bought the machine from said they bought the plow from a local ATV dealer in 2008.
Thanks for the link. It's a shame, my plow works well but we've had a ton of snow this year, 5" 2 days ago and 8" more tonight alone. I have nowhere left to push the stuff and thought if I had a...
If it's too tall you could always cut out the original hood and install a hood scoop to add clearance.
Anyone seen or used something like this?

I have a 2000 Conquest and had the Ranger 6x6 with a plow too. I thought the Ranger plowed snow well but my Argo with the tracks puts the Ranger to shame. Only thing I miss about the Ranger is it's...
Nice. A "little" snow is always fun!
Yes, I lived outside of Kingman near Dolan Springs. I worked for the Hualapai Indians as a trail guide taking tourists to the rim of the Grand Canyon on horseback. It snowed once around Christmas, 4"...
I love the tracks too johnboy and even the snow, for a month or so but now I wish it would melt away like yours did!
Thanks for the comments guys. I lived in Arizona for a year, NW area close to Vegas and it was great other than the rattlers, scorpions, and variety of bad spiders! This weather makes me miss that...
Made a boring video of my Argo plowing snow today for the 4th time this month, another 5" last night. I just want the snow to go away and green stuff to start growing so this is my version of cabin...
I would double check all of the wiring, grounds, battery terminal connections, etc. and if you have a load tester, test the battery. I've accidently shorted out many starters due to speed changing...
That's great news, I hope you've got it sorted out. One thing, I don't know if the little engine coil packs have an external ground. If one of the bolt holes have a metal ring/washer looking thing...
