why not get 2 brake light switches from some motorcycles,mount them each behind the levers on the fire wall,then feed in springs in the small hole on the switch on them then attach the other...

run the kohler.its a good motor.make sure its fan cooled or fan on the flywheel.i got a nice 25hp out of a rupp.putting ducting to let hot air out.

best to fix your engine.you dont know the history of that guys motor,but you know what you have.regardless of the good price,you could be sinking in a lot of $$ in his engine where its cheaper to fix...
