I cross a fast flowing river each fall on my annual hunting trip and with a load in the back I could not get to a motor. I made a low "roll-bar" just behind the seat back. On this roll-bar I welded...

I have one made by argo, looks like its based on the argo 6x6 with 4 wheels. Had to change the trailer reach to one that swivel's as the original one would almost tip the argo over on bad...
I was in the same boat, allways braking and replacing the pins. I drilled another hole at 90 deg to the factory one and just added another pin. So far its been 8 years and have not had a...
I agree Guyfox, darn " Murphy" seems to get around, from the east coast all the way to the west coast. I'm sure that he just hide's around the corner laying in wait for me yo start a project.

Thanks, this argo is new to me as I ran an 80's air cooled argo for years. Good advice, I will clean the Rad and try removing the hood.

Last week on the hunting trip in northern BC my 03 conquest overheated. After cooling I noticed that the temp would go up to 200 then back to 170 and cycle but slowly climbing to close to 200. I...
Yes, I use one, I put it right off the fuel tank and wired a toggle switch on the dash for power. Works so good that I wish that I did it years ago. The only downside is its not all that protected...
Thanks for the reply's. Ross
I have tried several spots to mount the gun boot but nothing seems to work as I would like. I've tried on the front both facing me and across in front of the "dash", last place was strapped to the...
I have an argo trailer, had to modify the original setup as it had a tendency to tip sideway going through creeks ect. I did a swivel on the reach and use a ball mounted on the argo, works great. I...
Hi Slim, I do all my tires. I bought a Princess Auto tire changer for about 60$, its a really simple and fairly easy way to do tires. I had a hard time to inflate the tires, tried every trick we...
I have tried tubes in three tires but after using them on a hunting trip every tube spun in the tire. One even tore the valve right off. I have patched a sidewall with with an inner tube patch and so...
I must have frozen more than my ..... swimming in the Artic ocean, I mean August 29. Ross
I was just up on the Dempster and saw a couple of trucks with argos on trailers going the other way. It was on Friday Sept.29. Just wondering if it was anyone from here and if so how they made out?? ...
Years ago I just drilled another hole at 90 deg. from the factory one and then added another shear pin. Never had another problem in 12 years....so far.

Thanks ARGOJIM. Yes it runs great on the easy stuff, lots of power, idle's good, starts good. Its just when I start up anything steep it starts to run real rough as if its not getting the fuel it...
Thanks for the advice. Pulled the fuel line and lots of fuel ( thanks RD ). Air cleaner is new so the next step will be the carb.

Hi Guys, my conquest runs great on the flat but bogs out about 30 sec's after starting a hill. I suspect that it is a fuel problem. The first thing that I will check is the pic-up tube in the tank....
looks exactly like my buddy's 1982. 16 hp tecumcseh and double roller chains. The weak link's are the shear pins at the sprockets, he cross drilled and used a second shear pin. He still runs his...
