I had the same issue on my 750 Efi, it was the fuse not connecting in the fuse block.

10x7 will work best but only up to hull speed, whick seems you are at already.

Of the machines i have had in my shop a few had over 10,000kms @ 1000hrs with rubber tracks, well over 75% lug left on them.
The guides wear thin but the rubber keeps going.

Clean the main jet, if it runs with choke that means the fuel is getting into the carb.
You can remove the jet by first removing the shut off solinod, then insert a flat screw driver into the hole...

My conquest runs 18" supertracks and the med geared trans, which amounts to an under powered argo. I tightened up the secondary spring to #1 hole which helps, added a spacer in the primary clutch...
