They got a cheap tach from a Chinese supplier and didn't care if the standard plate had unused numbers. A lot of unused numbers.
Hey Great White, been following along for a while and just wanted to say your sharing of all the details and steps and reasoning behind decisions is very much appreciated. Many ideas I hope to use...
Wow. Had to be a real kick to the nethers for their product planning. I imagine lots of challenges shoe-horning that air-cooled unit under the avenger hood. And then questions of heat rejection...
Haven't had a chance to try one out yet. Very interested in the steering differences from the avenger admiral setup. For your back seat question, the parts manual does show the seat frame is...
Wow. This is amazing. Love following along on this build. Looking forward to the updates and final drive impressions!
Don't know what to think yet. I know I'd like to try them out. The Bigfoot model seems to be entirely based on a tire option though. And I'm not really sure what's going on with that "APS"...
Looks like they just put their name on a Taiwanese import.
Welcome To The World Of TGB
Look like rebadged versions of these guys from some company called TGB (Taiwan Golden Bee!). Really don't understand this product line addition. Argo has always meant superior terrainability (6 or...
No, they're a relatively small Canadian manufacturer but I know their president and VP of engineering are former Arctic Cat people so there's probably some ties there.
Not surprising given the arctic cat management they have brought in lately. Just disappointing and tough to get excited about. If it's not amphibious why is it an Argo? But all conjecture based on...
Erm, I know I shouldn't be judging it from that bit of an image alone but that front grill does not look like it belongs to an amphibious vehicle. Really hope they haven't just rebadged a chinese...
Just catching up on this thread now. I think there was an internal change to the LS transmission and it wasn't just a sprocket change. The sprockets did change to give a higher speed but if you look...
Pretty sure you just have to pull the wires from the micro switch on the transmission and jumper them together.
Congrats on a successful hunt! What better machine is there for pulling a moose out? What tires are you running there? Look great in the mud obviously. Curious if you've used them on a full water...
I was surprised to see this style of chain tensioner in a bigfoot. Thought it was introduced with the avenger series. In any case, hopefully the carrying rod isn't bent and the ratcheting bracket...
Can't comment on the temps but that bell ringing sounds familiar. Had something similar with a loose washer on the clutches but I can't remember if it was the primary or secondary. I think it was...
Just adding to Sparx's point about some of the premium packages coming ONLY with the 6.2 ratio admiral and how that wouldn't be great with tracks. There's the STD 6.2 and the HS (High Speed) 6.2...
Ah, thanks again! Why wouldn't they have this on their own web site? Weird. Direct link to pdf for anyone else looking for it:
