The Argo motor has like a 30 degree swipe as well... almost useless.
I almost @#$% my pants today. Took Dezi's 8x8 out for it's first swim, had some water over the side come in, not the engine compartment, where you get IN. It seemed like it was gunna tip if i even...
+1 Mike!
Funny thing about that, there's an Argo dealer in the states, that has tons of manuals free to download ;)
You have to get a switch that has a ground terminal, and when in the off position connects that ground to a different terminal. Plus your other normal things like start, on etc.
Something like...
Could you possibly of had water in your gas, or fuel line, and it froze overnight when it was -0? Only thing i can think of.
Nope, they're basically not connected to anything unless the key is "OFF" then they are connected to ground through the key switch.
Actually reading further into the manual, you may have a CDI type ignition system on that 440. Please download this manual and match it up with what you have.

we've got a kohler 400 sittin at the shop, definitely check the things 6x6 said, points, condensers, wiring condition, plug wires etc.
Is this an older 2 stroke, or newer 4 stroke?
Weee Innisfil, I ride my bike through there quite a bit.
Are you admitting guilt for that slip up Dez? lol
CDI IS electronic ignition.
Don't ya hate it when the guy wrenching the nut by the wiring doesn't look to see if a wire is going to get pinched...... 3 hours of my day wasted cause of it lol.
