That Argo will be a decent machine. If the budget is tight just pay to have keys put into the front axles. The pins are misrable to change in the front.

Another option is to key just the front...

OOOOOH. 1" axles are kind of difficult. If my memeory serves me they are 3 bolt bearings..... And an up grade to 1.5" splined axles is not so great.... The frame gets reaaaalllly thin. My humble...

You will have to look around but somone was buying super strong pins from some place. I used grade 8 bolts with the threads cut off the bolt and a hole for a cotter pin drilled in the end.

The permanent fix is splined axles. The cheaper route is pulling the sprockets and axles and having keys inserted.

I'm not aware of the details of why it how, but I do know it is an issue fixed in subsequent models. Sorry buddy :) call Adair or beaver dam Argo and ask for a workaround? Or an update?
