    Screw drive machine

    The concept was fantastic. The project took courage. The final result was not good but the first 150 feet were great. Thanks for letting us see.

    from all the videos i have watched of screwdrive machines, i believe his pontoon screws were too small compared to the machine and components. those big ones you can see will crawl over trees !! cool machines. a t-20 would work good as a tranny on one. john boy va.

    I've seen several around here from the early 1900s most are a kit on fordson tractors. The largest one Ive seen is in the mine museum in Circle. Tubes are about 15' long and nearly 4' diameter. It's built on a truck frame. Interesting ideas.
