The AT-101s will fit your 8" rims no problem and I wouldn't even worry about spares when all the tires on your machine are now. A worst case scenario with a flat in the wood would consist of swapping a flat corner tire with a middle tire until your back to your trailer. Get the new tires and list your 8 used ones on Kijiji as decent rollers if thats what they are. The AT-101s have a decent bar lug with good traction caracteristics in the mud and sand, they really are a good tire.

Hey Steve, questions.... What are the chances my standard plastic argo snow tracks will work on the at101's ? They are really close in size to the other ones.
&.. If you had to choose between new tires or chains.. Which would you do first ? Im leaning towards chains & doing tires after..

The plastic tracks are designed for 21x10 tires. In fact, these runamucks.
For me here in the US those came to just a little over $600 with shipping. They say they ship to Canada which is probably more expensive but $600 US is shy of $800 Canadian so maybe a good deal.

Oh yeah, I would choose chains. Both ground you actually, but running with bad chains wrecks more stuff along the way.

Hey John, thanks for the post. Thats the best price ive ever seen for Runamuck's! I did the math using their Canadian shipping cost page on their website and a current conversion calculator online, if I did it correctly then seven tires ( I have one new tire purchased last year) works out to almost the exact same price as eight of the other ones I was looking at. However using the Runamuck's I won't have to worry about my tracks fitting or changing of the tires to make them fit etc. All of this is stressing me out a bit because I have sold some of my favourite possessions to fund Argo repairs, and I really WANT new tires however I know i really NEED new chains... LOL .....ARRGGGHHH !

Kris those tires look like they have been running tracks a while and loose.

The third tire is an argo and not a runamuk.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
