i think even the hydromax with hydraulic motors on each wheel have issues from time to time with the pumps , hoses , motors and cooling. i have watched alot of the videos of the russian made 6x6 's that use a tranny and a car differential axle. brakes on each wheel for turning . they only drive by the rear tires and are always with tracks, but it eliminates lots of chains and the bearings are probably more heavy duty . j.b.
I guess i have been lucky, on my 3 rd machine and no big deal to keep up on maintenance. I wrench for a living on large construction equipment down to small water pumps and I don’t find argos any worse then any other specialty machines.
