    Admiral Transmission in Argo 6x6

    looks like argo is going to offer a admiral tranny in a 6x6 version called a 650hd..

    It looks like some HDI options like the admiral tranny are finding their way into a few other models as well, like the 700HD.... plus the suspension style seats available as an option on some models...

    Argo's website shows a 6x6 with the admiral trans. Looks like a frontier 650 (23 briggs)

    I'm still on the fence about the new Tranny at the moment. Parts are not available at all. A friend of mine just pulled another tranny out of one of the HDI's at work and had to send the whole thing back to Argo just becouse the oil level sight glass broke.
    They have also had issues with the Output Shaft Splines.

    Important to note that these machines are used HARD, on tracks 24/7, and would not be representative of NORMAL use.

    I've been driving one around a little bit, it takes some "getting used to", Power is great. Turning is almost "Scary Fast" in low range. In High range it does not turn tight enough to make sharp corners. Everything comes at a price though. Overall, with the limited experience I have with them, they seem to be working out. With any luck, I will take one out for a real ride sometime in the next couple weeks and have a vid and review for you.

    can't wait for your review, have been waiting for an unbiased opinion. This it the year I'm buying something just haven't picked which one yet.

    Was thinking of getting one of these 650 hd if not this model which one do you guy recommend
