Thread: Tire chain question

    Tire chain question

Just bought a set of tire chains for my Frontier 650 6x6. Wondering if I should run my chains of my middle or front tires? Had 8x8 and ran chains on 2nd tires from front. I want to use it on the ice for ice fishing. Not enough snow to run tracks.

For a Frontier, I'd go with the front. That's what most do here in Alaska. If you had an 8x8 I'd go with the second axle, especially on an Avenger with the higher front/rear axles.

I'm looking for tire chains for my Bigfoot with Goodyear Rawhide 25x12-9 tires. Can you recommend a place to buy. Thanks
