2001 vanguard2 brake issue advise needed

Left stick became slack; I replaced the mastercylinder and bled lines and topped it up with DOT5 fluid. This was to be a temporary fix as it performed flawlessly and on the second occasion of taking it out and putting it through its paces; the stick became slack again. Anyone out there experience similar issues. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Pull the boot on that master and make certain the piston is flush with cylinder with sticks at rest. If pushrod is to tight the orifice that supplies fluid is covered.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
