    argo hdi

    was wondering if anybody has ever tried to plastic weld a crack in there body tub and if so did it work or is there a better way to fix?

    Haven't tried it on the HDI but have seen used all over the snowmobile industry. I bet your local shop could tell you.

    There are several of members that have repaired HDPE by plastic welding. Depending on the kind of crack and how bad it is, if it's not too bad you can sometimes get away with using a torch and melting some HDPE to pour in the crack. Search the forum for plastic welding and you should see a few posts where members have shown their handy work.
