    Bent axle

    I bought a 1970 300st with a broken axle.I replaced that one.Than I noticed the one in front of that is bent.Can I run it like that?Will I ruin it?Does anyone have one they would sell? THANKS.

    I bent one and straightened it with a hydraulic press as good as new.

    If the axle is bent so much that it causes the tire to rub on the body, stop driving it immediatlely. If it's only a minor bend, it'll be OK to drive for a short while at lower speeds. Like Dozerlarry said, remove the axle and put it in a hydraulic press to straighten it out.
