    Parts Question?

How are the parts availability for an Attex Superchief 500's? This would be my first 6x6, almost bought a RIM a while ago and passed and am glad I did, but came across an Attex and like it a lot.

    Thanks
    Ted

Parts supply depends on where you are. If your in the PA, NY, OH trifecta, parts supply is usually ample. Even down towards Virginia you can find people that have parts laying around for the beloved little machines. The transmission is a t-20 which is still in production so parts are readily available, the axles can be made out of 4140 1" round stock, even wheel hubs can be purchased from alternative suppliers although they wouldn't be factory style. I love my Attex, all of them, and I have more than a handful at my house.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

I second what Drew said. Attex produced many Superchiefs over the course of a few years and there are still a lot of them out there. Any parts you can't find, you can usually make, or find something similar that works. There are quite a few of us that have spare parts on hand as well.

    RIMs are pretty cool, too.

    Good luck!
