Sprocket cup washers

    Sprocket cup washers

    Ok guys,the cup washers that weld on the sprockets. Are these available commercially? Like McMaster Carr or granger???

    In that thread, racerone3 makes a great point. Flat material/washers actually give you some room to weld them on.

    That's a very good idea racerone3 had!! I just made all new axles so I'll have plenty of stock for these!!

    Dave I made my own out of 1/4 inch flat stock. I drilled the stock to my bolt size and then cut it down to a small square. One thing to do is put the sprocket on the axle and insert the bolt with the new "washers" in place. This will maintain the proper alignment of the bolt hole, sprocket and axle. It worked like a charm.
