    Does anyone know How many attex spirits were built ?

    Not sure of the number, but I'm going to say not that many. The one I had that went to George is the only one I have personally seen.

    I've only known of two, including the one Drew sold to George. It's my understanding that they were only manufactured for a year or two.
    Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

    (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

    My "Spirit" did not come with the original engine or motor mount. They were supposed to have a Chaparral g25a (single cylinder).

    What was different (compared to the SC) was that the driven clutch had a bigger diameter and accepted a narrower belt. The rear sprockets also appeared to have more teeth than a Superchief.
