    Attex top abs piece

    Does anyone sell the top piece of the attex?
    Does anyone sell like a skid plate for these?
    Does anyone know where I can source brake pucks, mine are solid and do not have a backing and it takes 8!

    HI bentvalve, Someone on the site will possibly have a top. I made a skid plate for mine out of 1/4 inch abs. Melted abs pellets in acetone till it turned to putty and glued it between the chain troughs. You can use the abs putty to fix cracks if you v them out and soften the crack with acetone. Brake material can be bought from Mcmaster-Carr and bonded on with jb weld or high strength epoxy. Good luck mike

    My pucks have no backing. I know they are 1 1/4 so I know what thickness to purchase!

    Hi again, Find a hole saw thats 1 1/4 inside diameter. Remove the center drill and use a drill press if you can. Cheaper than paying Richards Relics prices. Good luck. Mike

    I have the source to get material just need to know how thick they are supposed to be.
    Yea, I thought $64 was a touch high if I can buy a big sheet and make them myself.
