It's Matt Oxender. He was trying to sell it quite a while back on attexatvs.com for $1,200 without the original engines and some of the tires missing. He got it from a guy in Tennessee whose step father was a part owner of Attex. The guy still pops up on ebay with some NOS Attex stuff for sale, I believe his user name on ebay is trigreekfatherof2 or something along those lines.
Here's a pic from 6X6World member Joe M.....

Is it amphibious? It doesn't look like it'd float...
The Buggyman using smoke and mirrors to avoid the question,,,whatever one only on the planet and being restoed how cool is that my hats off to who ever it is that took on the project, cant wait to see the finished product.Wagzee Iam surprised that you didnt spot this unit for sale and add it to your mechanical oddities LOL.N.C.T
I'm 99% sure my uncle had one of these that basically rotted away. I remember jumping around on it as a kid.
It shouldnt need styrafoam to float! i figured out the bouent force per tire here:

You get about 130 lbs of flotation from each 22X11X8 tire. 130X32 tires means it will float 4160 LBS in the water!!!
According to the factory Attex sales brochure they did have Styrofoam in them as a matter of fact.
