10-12K for a conquest? Those are NB prices for sure. I don't know what it is about used Argo's here, but they are worth more here than they are anywhere else. There is a local FB group for Argo's in...

I have an 80's 8x8 magnum and I ended up with 22's on mine and I cant imagine going smaller. There's so little ground clearance, that extra bit of room makes a huge difference. For tires, I ordered...
you too John, and everyone else!
The cargo capacity depends a lot on what model you have. 8x8's are higher than 6x6's, and HDI's & newer machines are a bit higher still. On my old '88 magnum, the weight capacity on land is 1000...
Might be a little bit late to help you now, but I picked up a little chain puller from Princess Auto for ~$20 and it worked a charm. I've never had an issue with the chains that run from the idler to...
Looking good! I seem to remember you earlier saying that you had removed the old T20 because it was rusty. Did you find a replacement for it yet, or are you going another route?
Hey NCT, you probably know this anyways but just incase you don't, the "Argo" brand ATV's are just "Taiwan Golden Bee's" that have been imported to Canada to be rebranded. I don't personally know...
Yeah, you'll have to remove the carb to change that needle. Take a look at the float while you're in there too, sometimes floats will come out of adjustment or even develop a small hole and "sink"...
If you suspect the ethanol has already harmed your needle, it might be a good idea to take a look at your fuel line too. If they are original, and the machine predates ethanol in fuel, then there's a...
edrk213, have you tried adjusting your clutches? unless you're looking for more top end, just adjusting your gearing by changing the clutches a bit can do wonders for performance. My clutch springs...
I'm glad to see that Argo are dabbling their feet in the world of electric. I know that an electric Argo has some restrictions (not to mention a price) that a lot of us are put off by, but you have...
I've seen attachments on argos (I think mudd-ox might even offer them on one of their new models as well) that appear to be extended grease lines that all run back to a common point near the back of...
I second plott hound on that one, first thing to check is the fuse. My old machine still has the old school tubular fuses for the break fan and sometimes just a quick spin around or replacement is...
Thanks! It ended up taking exactly 100 grousers, but the tracks are a bit long so the final count may be 96 or so. I'll make sure to upload a video when I get some testing done for sure. As for the...
It's been quite a while since I've updated on my progress here, life got in the way a bit and so did the spring hunting season. Last time I checked in on the site to post some progress, I actually...
I have those tires on my Argo in 22 inch. They are quite popular as a budget tire, especially for the older units. They are sold under quite a few names, most common is Duro hf243. I made a little...
How do you find the rigidity of the 4mm lexan Hauderer? I'm hoping to get around to doing to the same to my old magnum this summer or fall. I was origionally planning to use 6mm (~1/4 inch) lexan for...
Hi Buzz, thanks for the input. I'm not too worried about destroying the channel grousers due to heavy use, the machine I'm putting the tracks on is an older 88' Magnum and as much as I'd love to...
transmission parts for the older units are very hard to come by. You might have some luck finding an entire replacement transmission, or having a machine shop make up new gears possibly.
If the OP hasn't taken you up on that offer, I may be interested. Shoot me a message if they're still around, I'm looking for a set of 4 for when my tracks are completed.
