80 is low but I would expect it to still pop with starting fluid. I agree with others that you should check the timing.

Is the red spring stiffer? If so it should prevent the clutch from shifting as soon.
As far as I know the G50B didn't come with a CDI....it has points.

So then you would agree that I should install the small seal(30x50x8) and not worry about the second larger seal? I assume that stock it only had the smaller seal.
I know it is hard to see in the pictures but the outer surface of the little seal is metal.
