I'm a pretty big RCer and that was pretty cool! He mainly used the drive electronics from a rc tank. Pretty smart idea. But some money went into building that.

Well if someone has the money to test one, would love to hear the feedback. Everything sounds good on paper (even digital paper, LOL!) But proof still puts the "tion" in action, otherwise its just an...

The Argo Conquest I get to ride and work on. :6x6burnout:
Not exactly sure how hard the bearings will be but there are manuals in the manuals section that should help you with the breakdown process. As for the belt tension, you don't want to tighten it too...
Good, glad its working out for you. Pining or misfiring is not necessarily an indicator of timing being on or not. Still worth a check if its still low on power or if it hasn't been checked in a long...
"Caution! Stupid question alert!!!" What are duels? Is that a duelly setup for aatv's? If it is then I could see turning being a big prob. I'm in agreance with racerone3 in that you have 6 wheel...
Yes, I mean that they rarely go out of tolerance. It takes some pretty extreme abuse to get them to be off. It truly sounds like your carb is off just a little. Prob just lean it out a bit. Start...
After reviewing the manual looks like instead of regrinding the seat you can actually replace them.
L-heads generally don't vary valve clearance. Not trying to be mean like but what makes you think you need to adjust valves? The problem is you can't tighten the valves easily on a L-head engine,...
:top: Sweet! Good to know. Thanks!!!
What I question is with water plasma, what creates the pressure for cutting? And with the same plasma control it enough to weld and not blow through? The video on welding wasn't very clear.
Not Bad! Still would prefer to see it in action in person. Maybe even test drive it, so to speak! LOL!
So if any one was interested I fixed the problem with the kawi today. With a big thanks to RockDoctor I pulled the valve cover and found not a bent rod but a misplaced rod. somehow it had come out...
When i can figure out how to draw it to post on here ill show the designs i was thinking of.
Ok, I know you have lots of suggestions to check out but i have a question that may narrow down your search for the problem. When you got the motor back from the shop, did it perform exactly the same...
Exactly! Would require a bit of fab to ensure stability and perhaps a few doner snowmobiles.:D
Has anyone tried a gear drive track system like a tank or dozer? I could think of a design or two but wasnt sure if someone has done it.
Ok, wait a sec. Where is the meter connected, direct to the bat or to the charge leads? If its a volt meter your installing on it, then it should be connected to switched power direct from Bat. If...
Well so far for what I want on the cheap, I'm looking at approx $600 from Motosport outlet. Now if i change a few things (choices) i can maybe get it down to 500. Which i suppose is reasonable...
Looks like a better cutter than anything really. But doesn't say how thick a metal it cuts. Not sure it's any better than my regular plasma cutter.
