Recent upgrades to my old Scrambler. Baker-Hill 7000 trans w/ reverse machined to take original clutch / brake steering. Fabricated new component frame, belt pickup clutch frame and engine mounts, all adjustable. Terra Tiger pickup clutch, old Arctic Cat Kawasaki 340 2 cycle w/ 27hp., battery ignition with GM coils and Mopar condensers and ballast resistor. Almost finished. Will be getting alternator and emergency disc brake. Many small modification. Stuffed everything into the tiny engine compartment to retain the rear seat. Hope to have it in Ashtabula ,Ohio next summer.
Yeah, it was a pile of work. I have a T-20 but my next project is a Camel Centipede and it will retain this T-20. This Scrambler was done in two major steps, the first being 19 years ago when I installed the B-H trans. I just wanted to see this through and am finishing the current upgrades now.
